Ireland ‘s finest, Ardal O’Hanlon, joins Jack Dee at the Apollo Theatre to perform a must-see comedy set. The star of Father Ted and My Hero vents his frustrations on everything, from Ryan Air to Feng Shui, in front of an audience of fans and celebrities, including Blue singer Anthony Costa and Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s Anthony Head. Jack, meanwhile, airs his views on female soldiers, and asks the audience to text him messages. – Monday 13th September 2004, 10.35-11.05pm BBC ONE.

Jack Dee, the UK’s best-loved misery guts, is joined by cult-comedy hero Ross Noble. Noble’s hilarious ramblings and unscripted asides have made him one of the hottest stars on the stand-up circuit. Tonight, he improvises an astonishing set including a section extolling the virtues of wearing meat on your face. Meanwhile, Jack recounts a disastrous trip to the Titanic exhibition and recalls family holidays from hell, in front of an audience of 3,500 fans and celebrities.

Live At The Apollo on BBC1

Look out for Jack on the BBC from 6th September, every Monday at 10.35pm for the following six weeks the “Live At The Apollo” show which was recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo in London back in April is scheduled for air on BBC1.
