Jack will be a guest on Friday Night (October 20th) with Jonathan Ross along side Billie Piper, comedian Catherine Tate, singer Michael Ball, and music from Kasabian.

Lead Balloon, the six-part BBC Four comedy series, is to move to BBC Two from October 26.

The show, written by Jack Dee and Pete Sinclair, has been BBC Four’s highest rated comedy with an audience of 383,000 viewers and a 3.3% audience share.

Roly Keating, BBC Two controller, said: “BBC Four has struck gold with Lead Balloon and we’re delighted to be able to bring it quickly to a terrestrial audience while the buzz is still growing.”

Lead Balloon stars Dee as Rick Spleen, a successful but disillusioned, world-weary stand-up comedian and writer who spends too much time hosting corporate events.

BBC Four controller, Janice Hadlow, said: “It’s a mark of just how successful Lead Balloon has already been on BBC Four that it will be repeated so quickly on BBC Two.”
